Facebook advises pages must have SSL by October 1
29 Aug 2011
As part of providing security options to its users, Facebook has advised developers that all externally hosted Facebook pages and/or apps must have an SSL certificate by October 1, 2011.
If you have a Facebook page that contains customised tabs/pages, chances are they're hosted externally. If your website doesn't already have an SSL certificate installed, you'll need to ensure it does by October 1 in order for your externally hosted Facebook page/app to continue to operate.
We have a variety of SSL certificates available and can also answer any questions you may have.
You can read more about Facebook's SSL certificate requirement on their Developer Roadmap page.
